BABYMONSTER's 'DRIP' performance video tops 200 million views on YouTube

BABYMONSTER is proving powerful global influence, continuing steady growth on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 11th, the performance video for "DRIP," the title track of BABYMONSTER's first full album, surpassed 200 million views on YouTube at around 1:08 AM that day. It came about one year and nine months after its release on November 5, 2024, having continued a steady rise in views amid praise for fully capturing the appeal of the choreography itself.

BABYMONSTER holds a total of 17 YouTube contents with over 100 million views, of which five are performance videos alone. From music videos to performance-focused content, they have evenly recorded high view counts, proving a solid global fandom.

The growth of the official YouTube channel is also steep. BABYMONSTER surpassed 10 million subscribers one year and five months after debut, setting the fastest record among K-pop girl groups, and now nears 13 million, the third largest among K-pop girl groups. The channel's cumulative views have also far surpassed 9.7 billion.

In particular, more than one million new subscribers have come in since the release of the third mini album 'CHOOM' in May alone. Each time new content such as four music videos and three performance videos was released, the pace of subscriber growth gained momentum. Steadily presenting varied charms spanning music and performance through high-quality content is seen as leading to new fan inflow and the expansion of the global fandom.

Meanwhile, starting with a Seoul concert in June, BABYMONSTER is currently carrying out their second world tour '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM]' in Japan. They will continue their global run across five continents, passing through Asia and reaching Oceania, South America, North America, and Europe.
