BABYMONSTER to unveil 'MOON' music video on August 3 at midnight KST

BABYMONSTER will release the music video for "MOON," a B-side from their third mini album '[CHOOM],' on August 3 at midnight KST.

On July 27, YG Entertainment posted "[CHOOM] 'MOON' M/V ANNOUNCEMENT" on its official blog. As general producer Yang Hyun Suk previously teased, this confirms the group's fourth music video from the album, following the title track "CHOOM," the digital single "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA," and the B-side "I LIKE IT."

The teaser poster instantly grabs attention with a striking visual of a giant full moon shining over a forest submerged in darkness. Against the dreamlike yet mysterious mood created by deep contrasts of light and shadow, the song title "MOON," highlighted in red typography, further fuels curiosity about the full music video.

"MOON" is a southern trap-style R&B hip-hop track defined by its 808 bass and minimal composition. Synthesizer sounds and lyrics with an offbeat storyline come together to complete the song's distinctive color, earning praise from global music fans since the album's release. The track drew an especially hot response when its performance premiered at '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM] IN SEOUL,' adding to the anticipation for the music video.

"This music video focuses on capturing the mysterious, dreamlike atmosphere of 'MOON' through sensuous visuals," YG stated. "It will present a new side of BABYMONSTER's charm, with a mood entirely different from the refreshing energy of 'I LIKE IT.'"

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER kicked off their second world tour, '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM],' with their Seoul concerts last June. Currently making their way through major cities in Japan, the group will go on to meet global fans across 5 continents, including Asia, Oceania, South America, North America, and Europe.
