
TWS brought a wave of excitement to Tokyo as they kicked off a series of lively promotions for their second Japanese single 'SODA SODA,' making a strong impression on local fans and the Japanese music scene.
According to Pledis Entertainment, members Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin launched a variety of activities across Tokyo to celebrate the new single. Their promotional campaign features outdoor events, themed spaces, and unique collaborations with local businesses, all designed to share their signature fresh energy with fans.
One highlight is the 'TWS Shibuya Stamp Rally,' running through August 9. Fans can visit different locations in Shibuya, including special theme spaces and partner stores, to collect stamps and experience TWS's music and content up close. This interactive event gives fans the chance to explore the group's world in person and create lasting memories.
At the MODI shopping mall in Shibuya, a dedicated area recreates the 'Soda House' from the "SODA SODA" music video. Fans can immerse themselves in this themed space, take photos at a special booth featuring the members, and enjoy interactive installations that bring the concept to life.
Large outdoor advertisements featuring TWS are on display at Shibuya's famous Scramble Crossing and on the facade of Shibuya 109. Inside the shopping centers, fans can find photo zones and collaboration menu items, adding more ways to connect with the group during the promotion period.
The group's packed schedule included a listening party with Spotify on August 3, where TWS interacted with their fanbase, 42, and built up excitement for their comeback. On August 4, the group hosted a public event at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza to introduce the new single, attracting around 10,000 attendees. Fans sang along to the chorus of "SODA SODA" and "Shuwa Shuwa," filling the venue with energy.
TWS have been making a mark in Japan, with their new single 'SODA SODA' selling 161,253 copies on its first day and debuting at number one on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking. As of August 5, the title track also reached number one on Japan's iTunes and Apple Music dance charts, with all B-sides entering the same charts. The music video ranked second on Japan's Line Music 'Music Video Top 100' as of August 4, and third on Korea's YouTube 'Daily Popular Music Video' chart as of August 3.
The group's local activities continue with appearances on Fuji TV's music program 'STAR' on August 6 and a performance at the 'Mezamashi WANGAN Festival' on August 7. TWS will also perform at the 'Summer Sonic 2026' festival on August 14 and 16, and continue their Asia tour '24/7:FOR:YOU' with stops in Fukuoka, Hyogo, and Kanagawa through September.
