TWS builds excitement with refreshing ‘SODA SODA’ music video teaser

TWS has unveiled a second music video teaser for its upcoming Japanese single, raising anticipation for the group’s summer comeback.

On July 31 KST, TWS uploaded an additional teaser for the title track “SODA SODA” from its second Japanese single of the same name through the group’s official YouTube channel.

The teaser follows the members as they escape into a rain-soaked forest, where they enjoy carefree moments together. Laughing and playfully smearing mud on one another’s faces, the members capture the freedom and innocence of youth. However, the peaceful atmosphere suddenly shifts when Shinyu finds himself alone and witnesses the ground collapsing beneath him, introducing a mysterious twist that leaves viewers eager to uncover the full story.

Co-written by members Kyungmin, Youngjae, and Jihoon, “SODA SODA” expresses the exhilarating emotions of young love bursting like sparkling soda. The song reflects on a summer where heartfelt feelings were left unspoken while looking forward to the excitement of seasons yet to come.

The single 'SODA SODA' celebrates the sparkling memories of youth and moving forward with hope. In addition to the title track, the release includes “Palm Tree,” a relaxing song inspired by carefree moments at the beach, as well as the Japanese version of TWS’ hit “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?”

TWS will pre-release the digital single and full music video for “SODA SODA” on August 3, the same day the group holds a special showcase in Japan. On the official release date of August 4, the members will meet fans at a public event at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza Festival Square.

Since debuting in January 2024, TWS has built a strong following with songs including “plot twist,” “If I’m S, Can You Be My N?”, and “Countdown!” Earlier this year, the group promoted its fifth mini album 'NO TRAGEDY' before expanding its activities overseas.

TWS is currently in the midst of its first Asia tour, with upcoming stops in Fukuoka, Hyogo, Kanagawa, Macau, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kaohsiung through October.
