On July 24 at midnight KST, the singer released a teaser image with a date, announcing a solo comeback. The image shows an ant climbing a tower of sugar cubes and features the title 'PHASE 1: Soft Violence.'
Meanwhile, this marks a quick comeback in approximately 3 months since the release of "Permission" back in May. This year, Taemin has been expanding his global influence with all English tracks, including "Long Way Home," which entered the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Airplay chart.
Recently, TAEMIN became the first Korean male solo artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, making a big splash as one of the most buzzed-about performances. Moreover, he has performed “Long Way Home” on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Amazon Music’s In The Paint series, and most recently on Genius’ Open Mic.
