NewJeans member Haerin has officially resumed individual activities, marking her first solo project since returning to ADOR.
On August 14 KST, Marie Claire Korea unveiled Haerin’s cover pictorial for its September issue through its official Instagram account.

Introducing the cover, the magazine stated, “This cover captures Haerin in a clear and vibrant moment, like the beginning of a new season.”
The shoot was set against a picturesque backdrop reminiscent of a newly blossomed flower in an old Parisian garden. Marie Claire described the pictorial as capturing the different sides of Haerin that coexist naturally—from lovable and confident to elegant and free-spirited.
The cover is particularly notable as Haerin’s first appearance as a magazine cover model since ELLE Japan in February 2025. It is also her first individual activity to be unveiled following her return to ADOR after the group’s lengthy exclusive contract dispute.

NewJeans had been engaged in a contract dispute with ADOR since November 2024. In October 2025, the members lost the first-instance lawsuit concerning the validity of their exclusive contracts.
ADOR has since begun releasing new content featuring Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein, signaling the members’ gradual return to official activities. Danielle, meanwhile, is no longer part of the group following the termination of her contract with the agency.
With Haerin now stepping forward with her first solo pictorial since the dispute, attention is turning to how the remaining NewJeans members will resume their individual and group activities going forward.
