MONSTA X thrilled approximately 60,000 fans at the Istanbul Festival in Turkey on August 15, reaffirming their powerful global presence. The group took the stage at Festival Park Yenikapı, one of Turkey’s premier music venues, representing K-pop on a grand scale.
The Istanbul Festival, now in its fifth year, ranks as one of the country’s largest music celebrations. As MONSTA X opened their set with “DRAMARAMA,” the crowd immediately burst into enthusiastic Korean sing-alongs, filling the venue with electrifying energy. Fans displayed Korean-written placards and cheered loudly, demonstrating their deep connection to the group.
Following up with “Rush Hour,” the members delivered explosive vocals and dynamic performances that further ignited the audience. After the song, the group expressed heartfelt joy at returning to Turkey and promised to present even more spectacular stages for their fans, who responded with roaring cheers and applause.
The mood softened with emotive renditions of “The Dreaming” and “growing pains,” where MONSTA X highlighted their delicate vocal tones and matured emotional depth. Fans waved their hands and lit up the arena with phone flashlights, creating a stunning sea of lights.
During a special artist Q&A segment, members Shownu and Jooheon reflected on past visits and broadcasts in Turkey, expressing their affection for local fans. They also pledged to return as a full group, including member I.M, much to the audience’s delight.
