Top star couple Lee Jong Suk and singer-actress IU have parted ways after four years of public dating.
On July 10, Lee Jong Suk's agency Ace Factory confirmed the news, stating, "It is true they broke up. They decided to remain as good colleagues." IU's agency EDAM Entertainment released a parallel statement: "It is true they broke up. They have decided to stay as good colleagues."
The two first met in 2012 while co-hosting SBS's music program 'Inkigayo'. After years of friendship as colleagues, their relationship grew into a romance in 2022.
Both are now focusing on upcoming projects. Lee Jong Suk is preparing for the global release of the Disney original series 'The Remarried Empress', while IU is working on a new album and will hold a solo concert at Goyang Stadium this September.
