On July 24, 2026, child welfare organization Green Umbrella said the Actor Kim Soo Hyun Korean & Global Fan Union donated items under the name BENCH X Actor Kim Soo Hyun Korean & Global Fan Union. The project connected the fan community with clothing brand BENCH.
The donation matched the meaning of Kim Soo Hyun's 19th debut anniversary in a clear, symbolic way. Fans prepared 1,900 children's T-shirts and 1,900 hats, making 1,900 sets and 3,800 items in total.
According to the announcement, the fan union prepared 1,000 sets first. BENCH then added 900 sets after agreeing with the fans' intention, bringing the full project to 1,900 sets.
A representative for BENCH X Actor Kim Soo Hyun Korean & Global Fan Union said the group found meaning in gathering its celebratory feelings for the anniversary and turning them into practical help for children. The representative also said they hoped the items would offer even a small support as children grow warmly and healthily.
