KATSEYE preview tracks from third EP 'WILD' including 'Hootie Frutti'

Global girl group KATSEYE, under HYBE Labels and Geffen Records, thrilled fans by releasing a highlight medley of their third EP 'WILD' on August 11, 2026. Shared through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, this preview offers a vivid glimpse into the group’s expanding musical range ahead of the EP’s August 14 launch.

The nearly three-minute video uses a rotating projector screen to reveal various scenes that visually echo the moods and styles of each track on 'WILD'. As the scenes shift, the atmosphere changes to reflect the distinct musical textures of the songs, providing fans with a rich sensory experience of the album.

The medley begins with the catchy hook of "PINKY UP" and the seductive beats of "Animal," setting an energetic tone. The title track, "Hootie Frutti," then bursts with lively energy, featuring an exotic Portuguese intro and a pulsating rhythm that immediately captures the listener’s attention.

After the dynamic opener, the medley explores contrasting sounds. "Bel Air" offers a ballad that highlights KATSEYE's sparkling vocals and deep emotional expression, while "That Way" draws listeners in with its dreamy sound and provocative mood. A special track, "Unloveu," written and composed by member Lala, presents the group’s sweet harmonies and tender emotions. This song is exclusive to the U.S. target edition and select overseas versions, providing a unique experience for international fans.

KATSEYE's third EP 'WILD' will release on August 14, 2026. The album credits include global producers and musicians such as HYBE chairman Bang Si Hyuk, Ed Sheeran, Omer Fedi, Blake Slatkin, Patrik Berger, and Johnny Goldstein, highlighting the group’s international collaboration.

Previously released track "Animal" has already made a strong impact on global charts, entering the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number 24 (August 8, 2026), the UK Official Singles Top 100 at number 16 (July 31–August 6, 2026), and reaching number 8 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart (July 31–August 6, 2026), marking the group’s highest achievement on that chart to date.
