Former idol trainee Han Seo Hee appeared to confirm a relationship with a non-Korean model, only for it to later be revealed as a promotional stunt for an advertisement.
On August 2, Han Seo Hee posted a message on her Instagram Story saying, "Thank you for showing so much interest in my man," and added, "However, please don't create strange rumors. He is a normal guy."
She also uploaded a video showing him smiling and winking at the camera, along with a request for fans to "please view him with affection."
In the photos, the two appeared affectionate, with their faces close together, giving off a couple-like atmosphere. In the videos, Han Seo Hee was seen walking through a street in France with him and smiling brightly, showing a warm and sweet side of their interaction that drew attention.

The model attracted attention with his striking appearance and impressive physique, with his personal Instagram account reportedly listing previous modeling work for brands including Lancôme and Dolce & Gabbana.
The man also left a heart-hand emoji comment on Han Seo Hee's post, which she responded to with a heart emoji. Some people speculated that she had found a new partner, and after the dating rumors gained attention, Han Seo Hee stated that the two were indeed in a relationship.
However, several hours later, a significant number of netizens left comments on her Instagram accusing her of "pretending to date the foreign model," who allegedly appeared in exchange for a fee. Within a day, Han Seo Hee uploaded a new post featuring the model as part of a paid social media partnership advertisement for a fortune-telling website called Named Saju.

In a follow-up post, Han Seo Hee uploaded three photos of herself with the caption: "I don't have a lover. You are all my lovers," referring to her audiences.

Meanwhile, Han Seo Hee is a former trainee who appeared on the MBC audition program 'Birth of a Great Star', which aired from 2012 to 2013. In 2016, she was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for four years, after being charged with smoking marijuana alongside former BIGBANG member T.O.P.
Later, while still on probation in 2021, she was indicted again on charges of using methamphetamine and received a sentence of one year and six months in prison. In 2022, she received an additional six-month prison sentence for another drug-related offense, completed her sentence, and was released in November 2023.
In addition, Han Seo Hee has drawn media attention for her involvement in several controversies, including allegations of spreading false rumors about various idols.
