
DAY6's multi-talented member, Young K, has achieved a full sell-out for his upcoming solo tour's inaugural concerts in Incheon, South Korea. This impressive feat highlights his strong popularity and builds significant anticipation ahead of his new album release.
The three-day event, titled 'Young K Solo Tour [ YOUNGEST ]', is scheduled for August 14 to August 16 at the grand Incheon Inspire Arena. All tickets for the three dates were swiftly claimed during the official fan club My Day 6th generation pre-sale, which took place on July 20. This marks Young K's first solo concert in approximately three years, following his 'Young K Solo Concert [ Letters with notes ]' in September 2023.
Fans are also eagerly awaiting his second full-length album, 'YOUNGEST', set to drop on July 27 at 6 PM KST. The album features a total of 15 tracks, including the title song "Shut The Door." Young K showcased his deep musicality by participating in writing the lyrics and composing every single track on the album.
The album title 'YOUNGEST' reflects Young K's aim to create a work that is most authentically himself, offering his current answers to personal questions. He has also been releasing 'Key of the YOUNGEST' promotional content on social media from July 17 to July 22. This content connects his childhood dreams, cherished memories, and present self with the new songs, providing a deeper look into his inner world.
Following the Incheon launch, the 'Young K Solo Tour [ YOUNGEST ]' will expand its global reach. The tour includes stops in Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur, connecting him with international fans.
