WJSN’s Dayoung directly denies dating rumors with Jay Park

WJSN’s Dayoung has personally shut down dating rumors involving singer Jay Park.

On the August 22 broadcast of KBS2’s ‘The Seasons’, Dayoung and Jay Park appeared as guests following the release of their collaboration single “FLIRTY.”

During the show, Sung Si Kyung brought up the recent speculation surrounding the two artists.

“Recently, Dayoung had a dating rumor. Apparently, photos came out,” he said, referring to rumors linking her to Jay Park.

When Jay Park later joined them, Sung Si Kyung joked about the two, saying, “You looked good together. The moment I saw it, I knew it wasn’t true,” before adding, “But if it is true, just tell us.”

Dayoung immediately responded, “No, it’s not,” firmly denying that she and Jay Park are dating.

Sung Si Kyung continued teasing her by asking what she thought of Jay Park as a person, putting his music aside.

Dayoung replied, “He’s lovable and passionate.”

Sung Si Kyung quickly added, “Lovable, passionate, and rich,” prompting Dayoung to respond, “Seriously. I’m jealous,” drawing laughter from the studio.

Dayoung and Jay Park recently attracted attention with their collaboration single “FLIRTY.” Speaking about how the project came together, Jay Park credited Dayoung’s determination for making the collaboration happen so quickly.

“This song came together in such a short period of time because of Dayoung’s drive and effort,” he explained.

Jay Park admitted that he initially wondered whether the collaboration would be possible because of his busy schedule, which includes concerts and touring.

However, Dayoung had already prepared such a detailed plan that it was difficult for him to turn down the proposal.

“She came with everything planned out so that I couldn’t say no, and I was immediately convinced,” Jay Park said. “I think she’s the first person I’ve met who has even more drive than I do.”

Dayoung confidently responded, “A passionate woman gets what she wants,” earning applause from the audience.
