Speculation has emerged that TWICE's Tzuyu may not renew her individual contract with JYP Entertainment. According to a July 14 report by News1, Tzuyu reportedly agreed to continue only in TWICE's group activities rather than sign a new individual contract, during the group's contract renewal period.
In response, a JYP Entertainment representative told Edaily that discussions on contract renewals with all TWICE members are still underway and that nothing has been confirmed. The agency said it will make an official announcement once the matter is finalized.
TWICE, made up of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, debuted in October 2015. The group previously renewed with JYP in July 2022, and this marks their second contract renewal phase.
