TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) has proven their popularity in Japan, topping the Oricon chart immediately following the release of their new song. According to the latest Oricon rankings released on August 17, TXT’s fifth Japanese single, ‘Setsuna Hanabi’ (セツナハナビ), claimed No. 1 on the Daily Digital Single Ranking. The song is also performing strongly on other music charts. ‘Setsuna Hanabi’ ranked No. 1 on Japan’s iTunes Top Songs chart for two consecutive days, August 17 and 18. The music video has also been receiving significant attention. It held the No. 1 spot on Line Music’s Music Video Top 100 for a second consecutive day and also topped YouTube’s Worldwide Trending Music Videos chart. ‘Setsuna Hanabi’ is a Brazilian funk track that compares the unavoidable moment of separation to fireworks on a midsummer night. The song captures the bittersweet feeling of knowing a relationship is coming to an end while still wishing for it to continue. Meanwhile, TXT will hold a premium live performance commemorating the release of their fifth Japanese single at Tokyo Garden Theater on August 19.
