TWICE’s contract renewal discussions are underway, and member Nayeon has drawn attention after promising fans that they will meet again. On July 15, Nayeon shared her thoughts on completing the group’s year-long world tour through her personal social media. “After a long, long year, the tour has finally come to an end,” Nayeon wrote. “Because I wanted to wrap up this long journey at the place where the tour began, I spent these three days feeling more nervous and emotional than ever before.” Reflecting on the tour, she continued, “I started this tour with half fear and half excitement, but looking back, I was someone who was always lacking. Thanks to the happy expressions and support from ONCE (TWICE’s fandom), as well as the reliable people around me who are even more passionate about the stage than I am, I was able to make it this far.”

Nayeon also expressed her gratitude toward fans, saying, “This was a time that reminded me once again how thankful and happy I am to be able to dance and sing what I love, stand on amazing stages, and have fans who cheer for me with such passion.” TWICE held the final performances of their 'THIS IS FOR' world tour at KSPO DOME in Songpa, Seoul, from July 10 to 12. The group kicked off the tour at Incheon Inspire Arena in July 2025 and performed a total of 81 shows across 44 regions, including Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe. Nayeon left a message for fans in the comments section, writing, “Let’s meet again with an even better version of ourselves.” Meanwhile, TWICE has recently been receiving significant attention over reports surrounding their contract renewal. Debuting in 2015, TWICE solidified their status as one of the leading third-generation girl groups with numerous hit songs. During their first contract renewal in 2022, all members renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment, drawing attention for maintaining their full lineup. Unlike several groups that debuted around the same time and later changed agencies or experienced member departures, TWICE has remained together, making their upcoming second contract renewal a highly anticipated topic. Recently, rumors emerged that members Jeongyeon, Tzuyu, and Chaeyoung may leave JYP Entertainment. In response, JYP stated, “We will provide an update once the matter has been finalized.” Rumors also surfaced regarding Jihyo’s potential departure after more than 20 years with JYP. The agency reiterated its previous statement, saying, “TWICE is currently in a contract renewal discussion period, and we will make an announcement once the matter is confirmed.” However, industry insiders predict that, similar to BLACKPINK and Red Velvet, even if TWICE members move to individual agencies for solo activities, group promotions could continue under JYP Entertainment.
