&TEAM reveal 'Mark on Me' trailer for upcoming Korean mini album

&TEAM have raised anticipation for their return by unveiling the trailer for their upcoming Korean mini album, 'Mark on Me', ahead of its September 8 release.

The group released the teaser, titled 'Trailer : The First Mark', on August 5 through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel. The video opens with a Korean narration by member Uiju, stating, "Everyone thought it was a wound, so I hid it." This line introduces a story where the members, burdened by past scars, confine themselves within massive blocks of ice.

As the trailer unfolds, the narrative follows the boys as they meet 'you', a person who accepts their scars just as they are. This encounter is depicted through a gentle touch tracing their scars, signaling the beginning of acceptance and emotional liberation. The video features all nine members speaking in four different languages, including Korean and Japanese, adding depth and immersion for viewers.

The turning point arrives when the ice starts to melt. The members share warmth and embrace each other, causing the once-solid ice to gradually break apart. This moment visually represents the members freeing themselves from the cycle of pain, experiencing a sense of release and newfound freedom.

Toward the end of the trailer, a gripping scene shows a beautiful 'mark' appearing where a scar once existed. This metaphor captures the album's core message: wounds are not simply erased, but can be transformed into meaningful marks through acceptance and connection. The title 'Mark on Me' reflects this theme of leaving a lasting impression between two people who truly understand each other.

The trailer also highlights the group's expressive acting. The nine members convey their emotional journey through subtle changes in their expressions, from anxious glances to relaxed faces as they let down their guard, and graceful movements after breaking free from the ice. Their restrained performances enhance the story's impact and leave a lingering impression.

Previously, on August 2, &TEAM released a prologue video titled 'The Wolf Who Loved Red', which told the story of a wolf tamed by love in a warm, fairy tale style. In contrast, the new trailer focuses on why the wolf opens its heart to someone, hinting at a broader 'wolf DNA' narrative for the group's upcoming project.

The contrasting moods of the two videos are organically connected, suggesting an expanded narrative that fans can look forward to as &TEAM prepare for their next chapter with 'Mark on Me'.
