SEVENTEEN's unit V8, made up of members The 8 and Vernon, has launched their first unit tour. The pair held their '2026 VERNON THE 8 [V8] LIVE - GOYANG' concert on July 11 and 12 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, drawing a combined audience of about 15,000 fans. The event was also live-streamed to fans in 63 countries and regions.
The concert was the first all-standing show for a SEVENTEEN unit. The 8 and Vernon moved between the main stage and the audience area throughout the 150-minute performance.
The setlist included tracks from their first mini-album 'V8', rearranged SEVENTEEN group songs, and unreleased solo material. Fans saw the first live performances of "Friend," "girlsnboys," and "54321 (Lift Off)," along with new arrangements of "Bad Influence (Prod. by Pharrell Williams)" and "HIT." The 8 also gave a DJ performance.
Both members performed solo stages. Vernon performed "Mia" and "Shining Star (Vernon Solo)" along with unreleased tracks "Get Me Off" and "I'LL BE BACK." The 8 performed "AWAKE," "8DM," "Skyfall (THE 8 Solo)," and "Love is gone."
At the end of the show, the duo said, "We put a lot of thought into creating a new type of performance. We were happy to make meaningful memories with our fans and will show you even better stages in the future." They closed with, "V8 will be back."
Following the Goyang kickoff, V8 will continue the tour in Hong Kong, performing at the AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 from July 17 to 19. An additional show was added due to fan demand.
