On a recent YouTube show, 2NE1's Sandara Park and Brown Eyed Girls' JeA talked about their past dating rules. JeA said her agency was relaxed, but Sandara revealed that her agency had a strict 5-year dating ban. She said she followed the rules by only "cyber dating."
Sandara admitted she mostly dated celebrities but never got caught because she simply did not meet them in person. They would only text. She laughed, saying the relationships only lasted a few months because the men could not handle it when she refused to go outside to see them. Looking back, she joked that she is not sure if they were actually dating, even though they made it official at the time.
When asked about reports that she only dates younger men, she said she likes them because they can be cute but also protective. However, she clarified that her ideal type is not just younger men. She is open to older men, like Eun Ji Won, especially if they have a fun and youthful personality. She just happens to have never dated an older man before.
She also shared funny stories about looking much younger than her actual age. People would refuse to sell her adult subway tickets, thinking she was a middle school student. Older adults would also scold her for speaking casually to her own younger managers, mistaking her for being a rude child.
