RESCENE’s Zena finally met actress Go Youn Jung, whom she has frequently named as her favorite celebrity and has also drawn attention for resembling.
On August 21 KST, a video titled “Do You Like Go Youn Jung?” was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Hello, I’m Woni, Nice to Meet You".
During the video, Liv revealed just how much Zena admires the actress.
“I don’t know whether she really likes her or is pretending to like her at this point, but she always has Go Youn Jung as her phone wallpaper,” Liv joked.
Zena confirmed that she regularly changes her wallpaper to different photos of Go Youn Jung depending on her mood. Liv teased her, “If you look like Go Youn Jung, couldn’t you just use your own face?” prompting Zena to protest, “What are you talking about?”
Calling Go Youn Jung her ultimate style inspiration, Zena praised everything from the actress’s bright eyes to her slender face shape. She particularly highlighted the contrast between Go Youn Jung’s appearance and voice.
“There’s one thing I especially love. Her face is incredibly beautiful, but her voice is relatively low. That’s the point,” Zena said.
Zena further demonstrated her fan knowledge by correctly answering questions about Go Youn Jung’s age, siblings, favorite color, and college major. She even visited the actress’s former school and recreated poses from Go Youn Jung’s old photos.
Despite going to the same hair salon as Go Youn Jung, Zena revealed that she had never actually encountered her there. That finally changed when the two met face-to-face for the video.
Zena appeared visibly moved when she asked, “Do you happen to know me?” and Go Youn Jung responded by saying her name.
Liv then brought up their frequently discussed resemblance, telling the actress, “Zena has been hearing a lot lately that she looks like you. I think she might believe it herself, too. What do you think?”
Go Youn Jung agreed, replying, “I think so. She’s much younger and prettier.”
Zena also excitedly told Go Youn Jung that she had visited her former college that day and was happy to walk the same paths she once had. Go Youn Jung humorously responded, “I didn’t really go to school that often,” drawing laughter.
The meeting ended on an even sweeter note when Go Youn Jung suggested, “Should we get a meal together next time?”
