The music video follows the despair of David as he flees into the wilderness from King Saul's jealousy, set against the hope of his mother, Netzebet, who urges him not to lose faith. Park Bo Gum, playing the adult David, carries the character's anxiety and isolation. Lines such as "Lord, why have you forsaken me" and "I go to the wilderness, escaping the shadow of death" lay bare his vulnerability under threat and give the performance a raw authenticity.
Cha Ji Yeon, in the role of Netzebet, sings lyrics like "When the path is completely unseen, please be the star we follow" and "We are not alone" with real vocal depth, embodying a mother's steady faith that lifts her son even at his lowest.
