ONEWE have unveiled their third studio album 'Unknown Atlas' on August 19, wrapping up the group's trilogy that began with 'Dot' and 'Line' earlier this summer.
The band, Yonghoon, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong, and Giuk, delivered a full lineup of 17 tracks. The album features 12 new songs, alongside previously released tracks, creating a collection that stands out for its scale and the group's deep involvement in every detail.
In interviews, the members spoke candidly about the challenges and excitement of releasing such a large album. Rather than simply retelling the original narratives, the group reimagined them with new perspectives, adding hidden elements and unexpected themes. For instance, the track 'Bloody Pinocchio' explores the idea of Pinocchio fearing adulthood and breaking his own nose while telling lies, offering a darker take on the classic story.
The members also discussed how their approach led to a distinctive mood throughout the album. Kanghyun mentioned that the group did not aim for a purely bright or innocent atmosphere. Instead, they expressed their own interpretations and emotions, resulting in some tracks having a more intense or even grim feeling. Yonghoon noted that this is the first time the group has fully embraced a fairytale concept, having previously focused on space-themed releases. He shared that the members brainstormed together to find a new theme they all enjoyed, and fans have responded positively to this fresh direction.

Dongmyeong explained that the order was carefully arranged through group discussions to create the most meaningful progression of stories and genres.
