
Kim Hye Ja is set to meet audiences on the big screen for the first time in nearly nine years. Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on August 19, “The film 'Still Radiant' (directed by Song Il Gon), starring Kim Hye Ja, will be released in theaters in October.” 'Still Radiant' tells the story of Soon Ok, who reunites with her best friend 60 years after they shared the most radiant moments of their lives. Kim Hye Ja plays Soon Ok, a woman who has never forgotten the special friendship she shared with her longtime friend. The veteran actress, who is celebrating her 65th year in acting this year, is expected to showcase the depth and experience she has built throughout her illustrious career. Cha Mi Kyung plays Soon Ok’s friend Jung Im, bringing her signature realistic acting style to the role. Park Seo Kyung and Choi Joo Eun portray the two characters during their younger years. Moon Sung Hyun has also been cast as the young Do Young, a character who became connected to Soon Ok and Jung Im during the period when the two women were building their friendship. Jo Sung Ha and Lee Se Young also appear in the film. The film is directed by Song Il Gon, who has demonstrated a distinctive directing style unconstrained by genre or format through films such as 'Spider Forest' and 'Always'. Meanwhile, 'Still Radiant' is scheduled to hit theaters in October.
