'K-pop legends' BIGBANG grandly open their 20th anniversary world tour 'XX : COSMOS' in Goyang

BIGBANG raises the anchor on their 20th anniversary world tour, holding 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX : COSMOS IN GOYANG, presented by Coupang Play' at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex for three days starting today (the 21st).

As the return of the 'legends' who set the standard for K-pop and the first stage of their 20th anniversary world tour, huge interest from fans around the world is focused on it. From masterpieces that run through 20 years of time to each member's solo stage and the first-ever stage of the new song "BiiiG," 'XX : COSMOS,' which gathers BIGBANG's past, present, and future in one place, is unveiled today.

Marking their 20th debut anniversary, BIGBANG infused their sincerity toward V.I.P (the fandom name), who have stayed by their side for a long time, throughout the stage. Filling the show densely with masterpieces that defined their eras, they lay bare the unrivaled chemistry built up over the past 20 years and retrace the trajectory of the time they have walked together with fans.

The members took part directly across the whole production, from the setlist to the stage design and the overall staging, infusing BIGBANG's own color deeply. Stages condensing 20 years of musical narrative and moments created together with V.I.P will blend to specially adorn Goyang, the starting point of this tour.

In particular, the stage for the new song "BiiiG," released about four years and four months on, is unveiled for the first time at this show. As audiences can meet the performance from the music video that drew attention along with the audio directly on stage, an explosive response from the audience is expected. From a collaboration with the science YouTube channel 'Unrealistic Science' themed on 'BIGBANG cosmology' to being appointed as honorary ambassadors invited by the Korea AeroSpace Administration, unusual moves expanding the keyword 'COSMOS' continued. A Han River event marking their debut day and varied projects unfolded across Seoul, such as a lighting show and media exhibition around Jamsil, also added to the heat of the 20th anniversary festival.

Starting with this Goyang show, BIGBANG sets out on a large-scale world tour of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. As additional host regions will be revealed in sequence, the tour scale will expand even further.
