Host Jun Hyun Moo, Super Junior's Kyuhyun, rapper Nucksal, and KARA's Heo Young Ji will lead a new true-crime talk show, 'I Met a Psychopath'. At an online press conference on July 10, the cast and producer of the MBN and SBS Plus program shared details about its format.
Producer Joo Hee Jin said the show will explore real-life encounters with psychopaths, sociopaths, and narcissists, setting itself apart by combining reenacted dramas, first-person storytelling, and expert analysis on how to avoid such situations.
Jun Hyun Moo, taking on his first thriller MC role, said he is a fan of the genre. "The content is appealing because it's so close to reality," he said, adding, "There are twists that even thriller writers couldn't imagine. Reality is hell."
Kyuhyun, whom Jun Hyun Moo called a "cold T," admitted the stories are so shocking that he often says "This makes no sense" and "This can't be real" during filming. He joked that fellow Super Junior member Choi Siwon would have the biggest reaction, while Shindong would calmly analyze the cases.
