The certification, announced on August 10, 2026, confirms that IVE shipped over 250,000 copies of the album, signaling their growing impact in the Japanese market beyond just digital streams.
Released in May 2026, 'LUCID DREAM' immediately climbed to the top of the Oricon weekly combined album chart, marking the group's third time claiming the number one spot on this ranking. The album also secured first place on the Oricon weekly album ranking, earning IVE a remarkable double crown on Oricon's weekly music charts.
The album recorded a strong first-week sales figure of 120,000 copies. This commercial success also propelled IVE to the top of Billboard Japan's weekly album sales chart, further cementing their popularity and leading to the platinum certification.
Translating their musical success into live performances, IVE attracted a total of 127,000 fans during their second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM', with concerts held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka and Tokyo Dome. This attendance set a new personal record for the group.
Expanding their presence on Japanese television, IVE appeared on popular programs including 'Venue 101', 'CDTV Live! Live!', and 'The Music Day'. They also performed on the special two-hour summer edition commemorating the 1500th episode of 'Music Station', connecting with a wide Japanese audience through broadcast media.
