IVE member Jang Wonyoung has drawn attention after sharing new photos on social media following a recent online controversy.
On July 16 KST, Jang Wonyoung uploaded a series of photos to her personal social media account. In the images, she is seen wearing a gray hoodie while looking directly at the camera with her arms folded.
Rather than adding a written caption, the singer accompanied the post with a black heart, cat, and paw print emojis.
The update quickly caught fans’ attention, with many interpreting the folded-arm pose as a subtle response to the recent discussion surrounding her.
The controversy began after Jang Wonyoung was seen briefly crossing her arms during an appearance at a theme park event. Some online users criticized the gesture, arguing that it appeared disrespectful or lacking in courtesy.
Others, however, defended the IVE member, saying the pose was likely an unconscious habit and that drawing conclusions about her personality or attitude based on a brief moment was excessive.
Jang Wonyoung has not publicly commented on the debate beyond her latest social media update.
