Girls' Generation's Choi Sooyoung has shared an update on her theater work, reflecting on finishing the first week of performances for the play 'The Merchant of Venice.'
On July 13, she took to her social media to look back on the first week. "Every time we put on a performance, I feel it's a shame that time passes so quickly," she wrote, quoting a line from her character, Portia. "I want to put a weight on time to slow its steps."
She continued, "I'm grateful to be able to share this precious time together, and I plan to enjoy every single second of the remaining month of performances. See you on stage."
The accompanying photos showed Choi Sooyoung backstage, standing alone on stage looking out at the empty seats, smiling with fellow actors in the dressing room, and posing with veteran actors Shin Goo and Park Geun Hyung. Another photo showed her celebrating with a cake in her Portia costume.
'The Merchant of Venice' continues its run over the coming month.
