ENHYPEN officially introduced their eighth mini album, 'THE SIN : BLISS,' at a press conference held on August 20, 2026, at the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon Grand Ballroom.
The group, now a six-member team following Evan's departure, returned after seven months, drawing attention from both media and fans. Members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki took turns sharing their excitement and confidence in the new release.
During the event, Jay expressed strong pride in the album, describing it as "the best album of ENHYPEN's career" and stating the group wanted to repay those who had been waiting for them. He highlighted the effort poured into the album despite their busy schedules with tours and other activities.
Jungwon commented on the group's mindset, saying they always prioritized their performances and stage presence, regardless of the situation. He mentioned that recent tours in North and South America, as well as performances in Busan, gave them energy and confidence thanks to their fanbase, ENGENE.
The group addressed questions regarding the impact of Evan's departure. Jungwon clarified that their focus and attitude remained unchanged, emphasizing their commitment to their music and fans. Jake shared that when they performed the title track "Bloody Paradise" at the Busan concert before its official release, the enthusiastic response from fans boosted their motivation for the comeback.
'THE SIN : BLISS' continues the narrative of the group's 'THE SIN' series. The album tells the story of lovers who break taboos and ultimately find bliss in their escape. The concept album features ten interconnected tracks, with the members describing the project as one that deepens the emotional and narrative arc of the series.
Sunghoon explained that the album builds on the previous release, with the new tracks capturing the realization that being together is a blessing, even amid hardship. He described the title track "Bloody Paradise" as a Brazilian funk-inspired song with a powerful bassline and addictive melody. The choreography includes key moves like grabbing their shirts and turning their hips, which the group highlighted as performance points.
The album is set for release on August 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST, with the music video for "Bloody Paradise" dropping at midnight the following day. The press conference made it clear that ENHYPEN are determined to continue their story and connect with fans through both their music and performances.
As the group embarks on this new chapter, fans are watching closely to see how 'THE SIN : BLISS' will shape ENHYPEN's ongoing narrative and career.
