BIGBANG unveils official title 'XX : COSMOS' for 20th anniversary world tour, adds new dates

BIGBANG have revealed the official title for their 20th anniversary world tour: 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS>'. The announcement lands as the group prepares for their first world tour together in nine years, with the opening Goyang dates already sold out and new stops being added to the global run.

On July 15, YG Entertainment posted new tour posters across its official social media channels to unveil the name. 'XX' stands for the two decades since the group's debut, while 'COSMOS' points to connection, relationship, and continuity. The agency explained that 'COSMOS' signifies "everything that existed in the past, present, and will exist in the future," tying together the group's musical journey and the years shared with fans. The members' own ideas fed directly into the title.

Fans had a head start on guessing. Letters spelling out 'COSMOS' were tucked into earlier posters as Easter eggs, letting followers piece the name together before the official reveal.

The tour opens with three shows at the Goyang Sports Complex from August 21 to 23, 2026. Demand has been steep: additional tickets went to pre-sale on July 13 and general sale on July 14, and sold out in seven minutes.

From there, 'XX : COSMOS' travels through North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. What began as an 18-city, 31-show run has grown to 19 cities and 33 shows with the addition of a Manila stop, and more dates are expected to follow.

The tour marks the first time G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung have toured the world together since 'LAST DANCE' in 2017. The concerts are also among the major K-pop events adopting a domestic fan pre-sale system, a step agencies have been taking to curb large-scale ticket scalping and get seats into the hands of genuine fans.
