BIGBANG team up with science channel 'Unrealistic Science' for a special collab ahead of 20th anniversary tour 'XX : COSMOS'

Planned by YG Entertainment as a three-part special project together with the science YouTube channel 'Unrealistic Science,' this collaboration retraces the trajectory of BIGBANG, who have shifted the flow of K-pop, through the scientific concepts of the birth and expansion of the universe, adding the fun of viewing by unpacking the worldview of their 20th anniversary world tour 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX : COSMOS' from a fresh perspective.

Part 1, released on the 5th, opened the project by shedding light on the vast history of the universe, from the definition of the cosmos to the early rapid inflation and the cosmic microwave background, in an easy and engaging way. Delivering extensive scientific knowledge in language anyone can understand, it naturally approached the project's core keywords, 'BIGBANG' and 'COSMOS.'

Part 2, released on the 12th, featured science communicator Gwe-do and creator Mimimi Nu, who dug into the parallel theory between the cosmic big bang and the artist BIGBANG in earnest. Starting with an analysis of the Easter eggs hidden throughout the world tour poster, they intricately crossed the space-time of a universe that rapidly expanded after the great explosion with BIGBANG's 20-year history of changing the paradigm of K-pop since debut.
