The members of B1A4 recently appeared on the YouTube channel 'Zip Daesung,' where they shared candid stories about their group dynamics.
During the show hosted by BIGBANG's Daesung, the topic of punctuality came up. Maknae Gongchan shared that he tries to set a good example by never being late, which pointed to CNU as the member who is often tardy.
When Daesung asked about the reason behind his tardiness, CNU gave an unexpected explanation. "If I go too early, my heart feels a bit sad. It feels impersonal," he said, adding with a laugh, "The more I talk, the more I have to lose." He also attributed his slowness to being from Chungcheong Province.
This led to a discussion about their different communication styles. Gongchan pointed out that CNU always speaks indirectly, a trait CNU explained by saying he feels apologetic when suggesting something like eating tteokbokki in case others do not want it. When asked if he was simply shy, CNU joked, "Then it would be impersonal, wouldn't it?"
In contrast, Sandeul and Gongchan described themselves as impatient and direct, with Gongchan admitting he sometimes avoids their calls because of it.
